Wizz Air is restoring more Middle East services

Wizz Air announced on 10 September 2026 that it plans to progressively restore 12 routes linking nine European cities with destinations in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Jordan during the winter season. The airline said the programme would amount to 49 weekly services.

Among the destinations named are Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jeddah and Amman. Some services were already returning in September, while a larger group is scheduled to restart from 25 to 27 October 2026.

Which routes are included?

The airline's published plan includes services such as Larnaca-Abu Dhabi, Sofia-Abu Dhabi, Budapest-Amman, Budapest-Abu Dhabi, Budapest-Dubai, Budapest-Jeddah, Cluj-Abu Dhabi, Rome-Jeddah, Krakow-Abu Dhabi, Katowice-Abu Dhabi, Milan-Jeddah and Bucharest-Dubai.

Schedules remain subject to review

Wizz Air said the phased restoration followed updated conflict-zone guidance and its own operational and security assessments. Because conditions can change, travellers should verify flight status and route availability with the airline close to departure rather than relying only on an earlier announcement.
